Software Engineer & Tech Founder

Krishna Kamal Baishnab

I build software and systems from ideas, and help turn those ideas into useful digital products.

Who am I?

I'm a software engineer and tech founder. I like taking ideas that aren't fully formed yet and turning them into software people can actually use.

I've worked across backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI, and I enjoy being involved in the whole process—from understanding the problem to building, deploying, and improving the system.

I'm interested in the space where engineering, products, and entrepreneurship meet: understanding a problem, figuring out what is worth building, and then making the technology work.

What I do

  • Backend engineering

APIs, databases, services and application architecture.

  • Product development

Turning an idea into something people can actually use.

  • Systems & infrastructure

Deployment, cloud infrastructure and the systems behind the product.

What I've built

Things I've built while learning, solving problems, and experimenting with ideas.

  • Kids Platform

A full-stack platform in progress around a real-world marketplace problem, from domain modelling and authentication through APIs, database design, deployment, and infrastructure.

Java · Spring Boot · PostgreSQL · React · Docker · Private repository

  • SkillSnap

A GenAI-powered application exploring how AI can make the process of analysing and improving a résumé more useful.

    Python · FastAPI · AI · GitHub ↗

  • HelloNotes

A focused note-taking application built to explore the fundamentals of designing and shipping a complete web application.

    Python · FastAPI · MongoDB · GitHub ↗

Organisations I've stepped into

  • Rutick One Limited

    System Analyst Engineer · Edinburgh

    Sept 2023 — Present

Building and maintaining scalable web applications, with a focus on backend engineering, Python, FastAPI, and cloud infrastructure.

  • SenseIO.net

Software Engineer — Team Lead · India

    Jul 2024 — Sept 2024

Led a small engineering team while contributing to the development and maintenance of web applications.

  • Mercedes-Benz

Software Engineer — Intern · Germany

    Jan 2023 — Jul 2023

Worked on machine-learning systems involving voice interaction, speech recognition, and automotive applications.

How I work

I like solving problems where there isn't always an obvious answer.

I care about writing software that is simple enough to understand, reliable enough to depend on, and useful enough to matter.

Building my own products has also taught me to think beyond the code—about users, trade-offs, deployment, and the business behind the technology.

Let's build something useful

I'm always interested in good problems, interesting products, and people who enjoy building things.
